Hi guys, Stardust here,

So I recently got into PC gaming (Smashed my Xbox with a baseball bat), and I've decided to set a budget of about $1400. I've been saving my money up for something big, and I think that a gaming PC qualifies for that. I've already got a gaming mouse and keyboard that my friend gave me when he got a new setup, so I haven't included that in the parts list. Anyways, my list is below. Please give me some feedback! I'll probably need it!

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core $209.99
Motherboard: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 $129.99
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 $77.99
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $54.98
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked ACX $499.99
Case: Corsair 500R White ATX Mid Tower $79.99
Power Supply: Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V $59.99
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer $16.99
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) $84.99
Monitor: Acer H236HLbid 23.0" $134.99

Total: $1349.89 USD

This is what I had built for about a budget of 1400. It should handle every need, and can I ask why did you smash your xbox?

I smashed my XBox because it red ring'd for the third time, and I figured I was just done with it!
