separate activity on two monitor

Hi guys. I just bought another 21" DELL LED screen from a friend. I am currently using a 23" ASUS screen. I just want an extra screen at first so i can reply email while i am watching movie in full screen mode. And it is working. But when i go into gaming mode. specifically CS:GO here, and the desktop on my second monitor is fine. i still can see it normally but once i was trying to answer a posting on FB. my CS:GO on my original desktop was minimized. That make no different of using only 1 screen. I wonder if there is a way to do anything on my second monitor without making the game in my original desktop minimized.

I am using ATI RADEON 4890 and My original monitor is on HDMI port while the second on is on DVI port. Thanks guys

Nope. Games will always get minimized.

Because i remember i read somewhere someone was talking about playing two game on two separate screen with 1 graphic card. so i wonder if i could play game and FB on 2 monitors.

Window mode should allow, but game will run poorly. 3D clocks won't kick in. Games will be hard to control without proper left/right mouse movement.
