My current video card is dying so I'm just looking for a slight upgrade but not really sure how. My current video card is a GeForce 9800 GTX+. I'm satisfied with how its performance but an upgrade to maybe some recent graphic cards would be nice.

My budget is around $100, and after some hours of research I guess a Radeon HD 7770 would be a good choice? (Any other suggestions?)

Another problem is, I'm now sure if that graphic card I want or any specific type graphic card is compatible with my motherboard.

Using dxdiag, it says I have a MSI 7551.

System Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2 GHz
8 Gb RAM

Much thanks

If you have a 9800 now, the 7770 will run in your system. Only thing you need to check is to make sure there is enough space to fit the card you want.

The 7770 is compatible with your mobo and the sapphire 7770 ghz edition is 8.66" x 4.33" x 1.38". Gigabyte is in mm 136.5 x 212.0 x 41.5. XFX is 6.6 x 4.4 x 1.5 inch.
