I need help. I have started buying parts for a build that I have been trying to decide on for the last couple of months. What is your opinion on 3x Eyefinity 60hz 27.0" 1440p BenQ BL2710PT vs 3x Eyefinity BenQ XL2720Z 144Hz 27.0" Monitor?

3D compatibility means nothing to me unless someone knows of a way to use two display ports on two separate 780TIs in sli and a Dual-DVI from one of the two. It does not seem like that will work so I will be buying an XFX R9 295x2 and avoiding 3D.

Details about me... I will be upgrading from an LG W2240T and an HD Vizio tv so pretty much anything will look like an upgrade to my eyes. Honestly I don't believe COD will be on my screen very much anymore and Battlefield games seem slower paced. The fastest game I will be playing will probably be Far Cry 3. Do I really need 144hz or even 120hz?

A Korean monitor with OC would be great but.... the bezels on most of the ones I have seen would not be okay with me when it comes to Eyefinity. My goal is to have big screens that wow and amaze anyone that comes near them. I really want to see deep down into graphically intense games. Absolute max budget for a single monitor will be around $600-800. I know of the ASUS ROG but without an Nvidia card I don't need all the extra stuff. It would be a huge waste of money. Aside from blu-ray movies this setup will only be used for gaming. Any help would be awesome.

The HZ is the limit of how many FPS the monitor can output. (don't use v-sync in Eyefinity / PhysX surround).

A 2-way CF / SLI pc won't be able to render constant 120/144 fps in Eyefinity / PhysX Surround with todays or in the future's graphic intense games like Far Cry, Crysis, CoD, Battlefield etc.

120 fps is the maximum amount of frames pr sec a TRAINED human eye can see, but most people (even gamers) really can't tell much of a difference between 60 and 120.
So i would recommend (If you are a graphic junkie like myself) that you go for the best quality 60HZ monitors you can get your hands on. As i expect that you are going to be running all games with every settings at max.
I cam guarantee that you will appriciate a higher quality monitor much more that a lower quality one that can occasionally allow you to see a few extra frames.

However, if you can afford a similare quality monitor with a higher HZ, then ofc by all means, go get them. :)
