Update to Notebook CPUs - Is Haswell-E coming for laptops?

I'm about to spend 1300~1600$ in a gaming laptop, is it worth it to wait for Haswell-E?

Haswell-E has been announced for May 11th.
Will it affect notebooks? Is there any other reason (except for eventually lower prices) to wait a month or two for any CPU updates from Intel, or is nothing going to come out soon?

If it is you're going to have to be prepared to pay a ridiculous premium for it. Ivy Bridge-E laptops are already around the $3K range and aren't exactly known for having good battery life. Plus the higher you pay for a laptop the faster it will depreciate in value so keep that in mind.
