I bought a new motherboard + CPU. My father has been wanting to upgrade his computer, and was going to buy a completely new one. If I gave him my old Motherboard, CPU and old GPU though, all he would need to buy is a few gigs of RAM.
Besides not having the correct cables, are there any things I should consider before installing my old Motherboard? His PC is probably 5-7 years old and runs Windows XP still, while my old Motherboard came from a 2 year old PC running Windows 7. I checked the cables and form size of his old motherboard, and it should install fine. I'm just worried about anything else since I've never installed one before and really don't want to cause damage to his PC.
