Hi guys,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-E2250SWDAK-Widescreen-Multimedia-1920x1080/dp/B0097HYR24/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t
is a monitor I am thinking of getting due to it's price and integrated speakers. However I am stuck on one thing. I want to get a HDMI>DVI connector to connect this to my PC(so i can also use the same lead to connect my PS3 to the monitor).
I am aware that this lead will not transmit audio so my question is can i use the audio jack lead that comes with the monitor and connect that to my PC for audio, while simultaneously using the HDMI>DVI connector for the video. I do not know if this seems like a weird question but for some reason I feel like I read somewhere that doing this would not be possible as you cannot you digital video and analogue audio? Some clarification would be great!
Here is the HDMI>DVI lead : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000GDI6FC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A32V5O2WTEOGPC
