Could someone give me something to go with these parts.....

CPU - i5 4670k
Case- Corsair 750d
GPU - EVGA GTX 750ti Superclocked
Ram - 1x8gb 1600mhz
Motherboard - ???
Power Supply - ???
Monitor/Display - Asus MX279h 75hz 1920x1080 Max res

Basically I'm going to be switching out my GPU & Ram from my current mobo an putting them in the other to save some money. Right now I just need help choosing the right motherboard and power supply.

I have around $700 to buy the case, motherboard, CPU, and PSU. Hopefully that will do it. Later on once I get more money I'll be adding a high-end GPU so the Power supply needs to be decent enough with future upgrades in mind.

One major question to determine your motherboard,CPU and PSU;
Are you going to Overclock?

If no, then best getting the i5 4670 with H87 and 450W (good quality) PSU.

if yes, then best keeping the i5 4670k but need Z87 and 500W (minimum, high quality) PSU, just for safe OC headroom.

With ram, Your socket (LGA 1150) runs in dual channel so to get best performance, it is best to get 2x4GB 1600Mhz modules.

I'll make suggestions for parts once I have the info I need.

I would like to have overclocking headroom. Reason I don't have the dual-channel is because I was going to use the ram I have in my current machine until I can afford some quality ram for the build. Would like to run games at Ultra with Anti-Aliasing maxed out if possible @ 1920x1080 60FPS. Will be using the computer for nothing more than gaming an web browsing.

Edit: Almost forgot the Storage - Will be using the HDD that I have in current machine until I can afford SSD

Well I was just looking for a suggestion on the GPU. I know the 750Ti won't cut it. Just wanted to know what to look for once I have the cash. Main thing is just getting the build up an running. Making it game worthy with a nice GPU will be the second step in my process. I'll make do with the 750ti for now.

Edit: I'm saving this parts list on Partspicker so if I can't afford the entire list all at once I'll get it the second go around.

do you have a budget for the whole rig Then I may be able to get a Z87, i5 4670k, GTX 770/R9 280X, good case, good quality PSU and other things.

I would like you to get the best performance PC for the price, to get ultra on every game at 1080p achieving 60fps.

My budget is kind of low but if you could get me setup with the i5 4670k, Motherboard, PSU I could just leave it sitting in the box an get the Case & Ram later on. I'll save the parts you list on partspicker so I won't forget which ones I'm still needing.

it would be best if you got everything but the GPU, use integrated graphics then get a GTX 770 / R9 280X later on.

Could you link your current pcpartpicker, if you have one? Just as where i live, it is different prices and different places listed.

I don't know if I linked that correctly but I don't have much on it right now. Just the CPU, Case, and OS

From looking at the motherboards that are listed there I can say that I don't see myself ever using more than 16gb in dual-channel so 2 slots would probably be enough right? Or is there no price difference.

Also I thought getting a CPU without an IGPU would be better since I'm switching my GTX 750ti until I get the GPU

two slots is enough, especially if you won't go over 16GB.

I think a R9 280 would be your best GPU for the price, basically a 7950, i is only $279.99, compared to the R9 280X , which is $469.99, and doesn't do too much better.

This is what i would suggest, a very good build indeed. Feel free to choose a case of your choice, as a case is a personal thing;

The link to Pcpartpicker only showed me what I already had. It didn't show what you had. I'm not sure how to link the parts list correctly.

that build will get excellent overclocking ability and will be able to max out anything at 1080p at the current moment, that total price includes the SSD and ram, which you mentioned not to be included, but that is what you could get later on. Best to get 4x4GB 1600Mhz, as your running two, dual channel sticks, or if you prefer two 8GB modules.
