More about advice custom video photo editing build
  1. Need a better quailty motherboard
    Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
    or
    Asus M5A97 R2.0
    or a 990FX motherboard.
    Need a better quality PSU.
Go for 550-650W . Choose brands from Antec, Coolermaster V series, Corsair(not CX or CS series), Seasonic or XFX
  2. unless you want to SLI that PSU is overkill watt wise and underkill quality wise. Also you're matching a 760 board with a 8350, which means no OC. Whats your total budget for these parts?

im not planning to OC the CPU or anything else hence keeping th cpu cooler as stock. ive changed the PSU to
    Seasonic S12II-620 620W.

im not too sure what SLI (more than 1 GPUs to share the load?) but im only having one GPU

do i need to change my mother board? tbh i dont see the difference between this board and a higher end one (but yet again i am new to all this)

The number if power phases on the motherboard is different. It better to have at least 4+2 power phase rather than 4+1 or less. Also better VRM cooling so it doesn't throttle your cpu.
  5. Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 is this a better option to my previous choice?

Depends on which one you talking about. Some are good but majority aren't
