What do you guys think of this build? Is there anything wrong with it? Could I get more bang for the buck?

Everything seems to check out, if you are happy with the case it should be good. one thing to note is that the corsair CX series are not the best power supplies [http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su... ], and your RAM has a higher latency than most. (cas 9 is common/good)

I like the build but I'd upgrade that MOBO. As mentioned, look into M5A97. Also, if you walk into a Microcenter you might find a better deal that they don't list online. Go in the store and check CPU/Mobo combo.

Yeah! They have CPU/Motherboard bundle (4770k and Z87 motherboard) for just 340~350$ while the only CPU costs about 310~320$ in other stores!!!

I'll definitely look into the m5A97, but which mother boards do you prefer, Asus or Gigabyte? Do they have any differences that makes them better or worse? Also what PSU would you recommend for my build? What are the best brands? I'm sorry, but I'm still a noob at choosing computer components.

Asus makes quality good motherboards for AMD and M5A97 R2.0 is one of the most popular AMD motherboards on the market, Gigabyte also makes good motherboards but I know less about their motherboards than Asus.
Good PSU brands are Antec, Seasonic, XFX and Corsair (Except CX and CS lines).

I did consider a low maintenance locked i5. Overclocking is definitely a want for me though. I was thinking about the I5 4670k, but the price kept me a little away, but to me intel motherboards seem to have way more features than the amd ones. Is this true?

Not necessarily, it all depends on the chipset, and what board it is.

So what would be the best AM3+ motherboard? My choices are currently set at the M5A99X EVO R2.0, the GA-970A-UD3P, and the M5A97 R2.0. I also can go the I5 4670k route, but I may have to go a little over budget if I do.

Honestly your build is decent, i would just look for an 990fx chipset for better features, a better quality psu, and DDR3 1600 CAS 9 ram instead of CAS 11. What ahmadjon put together is pretty nice as well.
