i know pb278q has more pixel density than u2412m (109 ppi vs 94 ppi)... but, there are still many people give cons response to some monitor even has high pixel density, so ppi doesnt guarantee to deliver good picture quality... so, im curious which is better between those monitor...???

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=558_1213&products_id=21516 The Asus PB278Q is a 27 inch 1440p monitor.
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=558_1212&products_id=26768 The Dell U2412M is a 24 inch 1080p IPS monitor.

You need a good graphics card to drive the 1440p monitor.
I don't know why people like IPS monitors so much. Their redeeming feature seems to be that you can view them side-on better.

If you've got a good graphics card - GTX770/R9 280X or better then the Asus 1440p would be a good choice.

If not, just get a normal 1080p monitor eg Asus ve248H
