i7-4820K Memory controller problem?

Hi.

I bought two i7-4820K CPU, after a short use I recognized after a few blue screen there could be memory errors. Tested with Memtest86 under Hiren's boot cd and found many errors. After replaced with 3 different type of sticks the errors was not gone. So I replaced the CPU to i7-3820 and the memory issues are gone. So the memory module is OK. The memory is a quad-channel Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1866. The bios was set to default. memory was used at XMP profile, not overlocked, Tried with different frequencies (1333, 1600,1866) but the result was always wrong. How is it possible that both CPU has this issue!? Both configuration is the same.
Asrock x79 extreme 4.
i7-4820k.
GTX-680 Lightning.

So you dont have memory problems with the 3820? Have you tried the memory tests without using the XMP profile?

NO there was no problems with 3820. Yes I tried XMP and auto configuration too but nothing changed.

I would try and see if there are any bios updates for your mobo as a last resort, but it certainly sounds like the 4820k is faulty - might be best to RMA it.

it is already updated to the latest bios version. so, yes it has to be a CPU faulty.
