3 Monitors 2 Graphics cards?

Hello,

I have 3 monitors at home and im currently using 2 when i want to multi task. I Have a Nividia GeForce GTX 550 Ti which displays both monitors through DVI and VGA, i use the main monitor to game and the second to display xfire, teamspeak, skype etc, i want to use the 3rd one and set it as monitor 1-2-3 which i can set up when its ready, however im just curious what GFX card i can use and how to link them together to display 3 monitors is it possible ? my 550 Ti cost me £80 but i only want a cheap one that will display basic stuff?

It should be as simple as installing a second video card and configuring it. I haven't done this myself, but I have thought about it a lot. Just make sure the video card is compatible with your board, and you should be fine.
