Hello again,

In this thread you helped me to solve the issue on what video card to chose between HD 7750 GD5 and R7 250 GD5.
This time I need your opinion regarding other issue and namely to choose between Asus HD7750 1GD5 V2 and Zotac GeForce GT640 2GD5.

Thank you in advance

What resolution is your monitor?
The HD 7750 will be a little faster in most games, and the extra 1GB of VRAM that the 640 has, may not help much with that class of card anyway. So I'd probably opt for the HD 7750.

Well... at 720p, that might change things. In that case, the extra 2GB might be beneficial. The card wouldn't have as many pixels/texels to render and could maybe make use of the extra VRAM for increasing AA and textures. NOw it becomes a tossup. If you could get the HD 7750 in 2GB, that would be the way to go. Or better yet, look into the Maxwell equipped GTX 750/750 Ti: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487025
This card is faster than either of those others and still needs no 6 pin connector and runs on a 300W PSU.

it is more clear now! Still the gtx 750 is a little bit too much for me. Hence, I might have a small chance to get a Sapphire Radeon HD7770 gd5. Should I try and get it? Would it be much of a difference between the hd 7750 gd5 and gt 640 2gd5?

This is the difference between the HD 7770 and HD 7750: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-7770-vs-Radeon-HD-7750
Be sure you have a 6 pin PCIe power cable available from your PSU. If not, you will have to use the included Molex adapter. Btw, what is your PSU?
There is significant difference between those cards, yes. The 7770 is superior.
Is this the HD 7770 you are looking at? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121642

If so, this GTX 750 2GB is slightly less but needs a 6 pin also. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125510
And this is their comparison: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-7770-vs-GeForce-GTX-750

Either the HD 7770 2GB or the GTX 750 2GB would be good choices for you.

Yes, I have the 6 pin adapter. At this moment I have a 9600gt 512mb which also needs this 6 pin cable.
This is the HD 7770, HD 7750 and GT 640.

My PSU is Corsair 450W.
