Hi all. I've been working on my build for a while, and I was just starting to order parts, when I spotted a sale going on for the GIGABYTE Z87X. I was going to buy the ASUS Pro V, but I did a comparison between the two, and the features on the Z87X seem awesome, and they're the same price. However, I do have a few concerns.

  • -I heard some boards were delivered warped. Is this a common thing?

-I've never heard of Superbiiz. It seems like a legit site, but does anyone know what their return policy is like?

-ASUS seems to be the King of the i5 series; how will it run on the Z87?

-How is GIGABYTE on redeeming vouchers? What's the process like?

Build Information
Primarily a gaming/universal build, my budget is around 1,200-1,500

I have recently (2 months ago) semi completed my first build i went with the following spec and so far i have been more than satisfied with the results, as you will see i have taken the same line on motherboard and processor

Asus z87-Pro
Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz - stock thermal paste has been fine
Corsair Vengeance 2*4gb DDR3-1600 Memory
Seagate 1TB Desktop 3.5" SSHD hybrid - and this flys!
Corsair Vengeance case - comes with 3 corsair fans
Corsair AF120 LED Red Quiet Edition High Airflow 120mm Fan * 4

I haven't had the spare cash to buy graphics card but to be honest this is so far has proved more than i have needed (i have not been playing graphics heavy games as yet)
And i havent included the prices as UK costs are different to US.
but all in all i think i have spent around £800 or $1349 at current exchange rate but as i said will cost variations between country's will probs bring the cost down
