I am wanting to add a hdmi graphics card connection port to my pc allowing my pc to be viewed on my hdtv and avoiding display resolution graphics problems. My pc is a basic AMD Athlon (tm) Processor 2850e 1800 Mhz 1 Core(s) logical processors system with a NVIDIA GeForce 6150E nForce 430 graphics card. I tried to find a similar thread but couldn't narrow it down. I know enough about computer hardware to be dangerous to my pc. I have decided to stop paying outrageous Dish or Direct tv fees by viewing the programs I enjoy off networks websites directly. I have a 26 inch monitor which isnt to small but I have a 55 inch hdtv I would prefer to use.

So is there any issues I need to know about before I attempt to buying a hdmi connection port for my pc ????

let me thank you in advance, thank you jeffrey paul

Make sure your motherboard has a PCI Express port, and then buy any PCI Express graphics card with a HDMI port that is in your price-range, and you're smiling

For example a Radeon R7 240
