Would my GTX 770 4GB be able to handle 2560x1440 res with (most) games on max?

I'm considering purchasing a 27" 2560x1440 monitor, but still not sure it's a worth it over something like a 24" like a Dell U2412M which is significantly less expensive.

First and foremost, would my GTX 770 4GB be able to handle the 2560x1440 res with (most) games on max? I only play Diablo 3 at this time...

I'm wondering if it'll be better / easier for my eyes then something like the Dell U2412M.

I'll also be using it for photo editing and casual web browsing.

at max settings, some games yes, some games no

most people go with sli for max 1440 gaming

I imagine Diablo 3 wouldn't be too difficult at max though?

And would the higher resolution be more difficult on the eyes as opposed to a Dell M2412U?

I haven't played diablo 3

As far as eye strain, that's a hard one to comment on as everyone is different

The backlighting, how close you sit to the screen, contrast and refresh rate can also contribute to eye strain

personally... for 27" @ 1440, i would go with 2 x 770's in sli to really take advantage of the display
