I installed a new graphics card in my computer and now the monitor wont display anything. All cables are snapped in good, the cards fan is running and I can hear it running. I have already disabled the old integrated graphics. The only thing I can think of is that the PCIe x16 slot is only 1.0, and the card I believe only does 2-3.0. Here is my motherboard

Solution
Yep - put it in a 2.0 or 3.0 x16 slot if you have one.

Check you're using the right outputs for your monitor. Usually its the DVI-I output to a DVI input on the monitor.

So it only has 1 pcie x16 slot. Is the slot only a 1.0

That's what you told me. The spec says 1 pcie x16 slot. The mobo is fairly new, so I'd expect it was a pcie 2.0 or 3.0. You should got a manual with it - check.

So I don't think your problem is with the mobo. But there's a chance you've just plugged the cable into the wrong sockets - at the gpu or monitor.

Is the monitor fitted with a VGA or DVI or what connector?
Did the last graphics card work? What was it plugged into?
Or did you use a chip with integrated graphics and plug the monitor into a mobo I/O panel connector?
