I have a laptop that has a 1080p(1920x1080) display. But when I play games I usually set the resolution in game to 1366x768. My laptop just can't handle some games at 1080p. But playing at a lower resolution the game looks a bit fuzzy/blurry. Should I go and buy an external monitor with a 1366x768 resolution? Will I see an improvent in visual quality when i game on a 1366x768 vs 1080p considering i set the ingame settings to 1366x768?

They do have lower resolution monitors; however, they are kind of a waste of money ... and I'm not sure I would recommend buying one:

I'm not sure how big a difference it might make though. It mostly would affect menus, but it's not really that huge of a difference in the sense. In the end, it may not be worth buying a subpar monitor just for that little extra sharpness.

Don't suppose you plan on building a desktop anytime soon? :)  It could be made a lot faster than the laptop.

1. Other than that, try lowering various quality settings to see if you can run at 1920x1080 after some tweaks.
2. Another option may be to run at 1366x768, but turn off stretching... so most of your screen has black borders around it. This will run at the native resolution, but use up less of the screen.
