Okay so i've been asking a lot of people but i keep getting different answers from everywhere.

Which connection is best for gaming, dual link dvi, display port, or hdmi. I don't have a monitor yet which is why i'm needing to know so i don't pick the wrong monitor. my graphics card is a XFX Radeon 7870 that has mini display, Dual dvi, and hdmi.

the main reason im asking is casue i want a 120hz monitor if i can find one cheap enough. so if someone could help me there too thats be great. im trying to keep it $170 usd or less.

There is no discernible visual difference between hdmi and dvi, but you can send audio signals through HDMI if needed. Display port is capable of transmitting much more data at a given time than HDMI and is primarily used for very high resolutions like 2560x1600. Unless you're running resolutions like that, you'll be fine with DVI. As far as the monitor, I don't know of one that cheap. Best I could find were refurbished for almost $300, that were any good anyway.
