Need advice for new CPU+MOBO

Hi everyone, I'm here today because my trusty motherboard has died and I'm in the market for a replacement.

I was looking at this:

A pretty standard set up I suppose but if anyone has any suggestions for better value then I'm all ears. Also if someone can help me, I want to make sure all my other parts are compatible with the new motherboard as well so any help is very much appreciated!

That's very good for gaming, AMD FX CPU's are good as well but the i5 tends to beat them.

Thanks for the references man!

As for compatibility I think I should be okay. Got a 7870 and a pretty new HDD, as well as a brand new PSU. I've been googling it a fair bit but I may as well ask now too. I know I'm going to have to format my HDD most likely but it is possible to have that "windows.old" folder so I can at least have some things saved?
