Hello,

I've recently built my own PC and got it to work. Because of the small budget, I end up using a HDTV which I got as a gift. I hooked it up to my PC with a HDMI cable and I instantly noticed there was some screen missing. I've tried all the resolutions and there eventually was a very low resolution that allowed me to at least see the whole picture, but with a black bar at the bottom. I tried stretching it, custom resolutions with Nvidia's control panel but it never got me the full quality it's supposed to give. The native resolution is 1366×768, but changing the resolution to native doesn't seem to fix the problem.

I tried a lot of forums, but they never gave me any helpful advice. :(

My OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
The TV: Philips 26pfl5322/12
My graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Any further info could be given if needed.

I've tried allot of things, but none of them helped. It might eventually be a combination of things, like drivers. Although I'm very certain I got those in working order.

I appreciate all help :)

tried the underscan in Nvidia software? It may be set anything in between 0% and 10%.

If that doesn't work, something else to try...

I had a very similar issue when I used to have a LG TV as a monitor

The display mode in the TV's own options had defaulted to an aspect ratio that conflicted with the resolution my PC was outputting. I had to use a 'scan' mode in the TV's settings and it detected the correct ratio

Might be worth checking you TV's settings if the Nvidia option doesn't resolve it
