Hey guys, I am planning out my new build and I just want to know what graphics card(s) I should get. I am planning to get three 23" monitors each of them are 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1ms response time, and an 80M:1 contrast ratio.
I would like to play at high-max settings, and a playable frame rate for me (personally) is anything above 35 FPS (preferably over 40 though).

I have been looking at something like 2 760's, 2 280's, a 290X, but I am not sure if any of those configurations will cover it.

Thanks for any help and advice!

I would get a 780ti. This is like a no brainer. The 780ti is meant for this or maybe even the Titan. Both of these graphic cards have a crap ton of power and can easily handle triple monitors without being in sli. I would recommend 780ti but if you want some more power the titan is good. Dont know if it will be in your budget, but if your just looking to get what you want and dont care about price, then the 780ti is waiting.

What is your budget? Looking at your listed options, I would look into either 2 GTX 770(~$660) or a single 290X/780Ti. You wouldn't be able to play at High-Max settings at 35 FPS+ with single card solution.

A GTX 780 Ti/290X would allow you to play at high settings with acceptable frame rate depending on the game. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_780_Ti/18.html

Obviously games like Crysis 3/Metro:LL would cause some problems.

My budget would be about $600. I also said that I could get something like 2 760's or 2 280's, so do you recommend a dual card setup?

Trust me when say. If can afford it, Don't use nothing under 6gig vram.. 780ti trust me, you wont be happy with.. Made the mistake of getting 4 680's for same reason and stuttered like a whore.. Reason I went with titans.. But get there a lot of money. My next go to would be the 8gig r9 290x. If seen the vram use im getting right now with newer games, you wouldn't even want the 4gig 980 cuz to me. there still useless for anything over 1080 cuz lack of ram.. At high rez.. Ram is one of most important things to consider. Take it from someone with 4k 2 benq 2420's and wasted a lot of money learning this..
