I was just wondering if Pcpartpicker sends the parts to you themselves or if I would have to buy the parts separately.

You buy the parts separately from amazon, newegg etc.

However, they offer a helpful list. If you can find a store that offers all the parts, you can usually bring that in and get quite a few things price-matched (or beat, depending on what's offered).

That's my primary use, aside from a place to collect my thoughts.

also many places only charge 1 shipping charge, so merging the order to one location can help.

no, pcppartspicker is only a tool which allows you to compare prices from different vendors and put together a build to run through its error-checking system. you will need to actually purchase the parts at the vendors in question.

its a handy tool, not an online marketplace.

good luck with your new build.
