Hi,a simple question

I recently started using 16:9 resolution in a game after 6 years of everything on 4:3,now im wondering do 16:9 resolutions look the SAME on a 16:10 and a 16:9 monitor?

I dont really have a good understanding of aspect ratios so im sorry if this is silly...

Solution
Aspect ration is the "size" of the screen horizontally and vertically.
16x9 adheres to most of the HD standards of today, and sadly, 16x10 is being basically phased out.
16x9 gives you a wider field of view in most games, whereas 16x10 gives you a taller field of view.

If you covet your pixel real estate, then 16x10 is ideal.

To answer your question, the noticeable difference is very small.
It just adds a bit more pixels to the vertical resolution.

Think of it in squares, if you have a 16:9 aspect ratio, it's 16 squares wide and 9 squares high. You make the squares bigger and you have a bigger monitor while maintaining the same ratio. If you put a 16:9 image on a 16:10 monitor, you have an extra square in height. So you either have black bars on top and bottom or you could stretch the image to fit.
