How do you untrack a thread?

After some searching I found you can unfollow post by going to the thread and looking under the OP and unfollow that way.

However I still have some that can't be untracked. I don't know where to look for this. The ones I can't untrack are articles that I have commented on such as:

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2041086/turn-audio-platform.html
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2029463/aio-drn-stn-review-gaming-120-display.html
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1634943/swtor-gains-million-users-f2p.html

So what's the secret to untracking threads?

That is terrible. No way to remove them at all then? What about making it not auto-track threads in the future? Is there a setting for that or do I have to untrack/unfollow as soon as I post on every thread so my profile doesn't get clogged?

Being Closed, there's no further activity on those. So you should not be getting any messages or anything about them.

Once you have been given 5 Best Answers by other people, you have earned the ability to choose Best Answers on other peoples threads.
Seeing as you have 11, you have earned that power...:) Use it wisely.

that's kinda bad, don't you think? I can basically mess with other peoples thread.

That has been a topic of discussion among the Mod team.
And no, it's not really that bad. The thread owner can always undo it, and we Mods keep an eye out for anyone trying to game the system.

It's not too common an occurrence that someone will be tracking a thread they didn't originate and want to be alerted to a Best Answer as a part of the tracking system - though I'll add this to the wishlist as a potential future feature.
