Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB vs SAPPHIRE R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 WITH BOOST & OC vs Sapphire Toxic R9 270X 2GB

Hi,
I wanted to know which GPU is better? The Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB ($250) , the Sapphire R9 270X 4GB (+$40) or the Sapphire Toxic R9 270X 2GB (+$75)? Are there any Major differences between there performance?
I am also buying a laptop so need to save the money.

My PC Build is:-
Core i5 2320 @ 2.8 GHz
Intel DH61WW motherboard
4GB DDR3 RAM (need to upgrade?)

I will be playing Battlefield 4, Titanfall and maybe some new games.

More about sapphire dual 270x 2gb sapphire 270x 4gb gddr5 boost sapphire toxic 270x 2gb
  1. ive got the sapphire 4gb edition its good maybe a lil noisy if u wna be picky !! if noise is a concern go for the toxic as the 3rd fan means you can run them at lower rpms
  2. 4GB Editions are pointless and perform exactly the same as the 2GB in almost everything, the 4GB versions can use up to 3.8Gb of their total memory, but at that point, the core itself is struggling making it not practical.
  3. i only got 4gb card as an upgrade to 4k in the future
  4. 4k, even the strongest of GPU's will struggle, the 4Gb version will help a bit, but depending on what you do, won't benefit at all.
  5. oh yeah ofcourse im jus hoping 2x r9 270x will be enough if not 1440p it is lol
  6. it will be just enough.

I am going for a R9 295X2 to tri-fire with my R9 290X soon, my ambitious plan to suffice dual 4k screens.
  7. ohh blooming heck thats clever didnt think that would work hahaha !!!!! fair play to you buddy im not rich enough to do silly things like that hahaha
  8. It'll be a setup for sure, But I'll need a new PSU.
  9. toxic for sure

    Thanks for the Info!
I'll go for the Toxic one then.
  11. I also wanted to know whether a 200W PSU is enough for this PC?
    Intel i5 2300
    Sapphire 270X Toxic
    4 GB RAM
    In a Intel DH61WW motherboard

If I need to upgrade, then how much would I need?
  12. no, you'll need at least a Corsair CX 430 (430 watt), cheap and best for that system, a Corsair CX 500 (500 watt) if you want the extra watt headroom, which is always best

Corsair CX 430 can be found for around~ $45 CX 500 under $55.
