I want to get the Asus VI Formula, but I realized that it only had dual channel ram. I plan on getting 4x8gb kingston ram. Will using dual channel with 4 memory sticks cause any problems? Are there different options? On my first build. Any help is much appreciated. :)

generally two sticks is considered better
-less strain on the memory controller
-less sticks means less chances of a stick failing
-very slight differences to cpu overclocking
-less sticks can be a bit more stable

HOWEVER... most of that is a pile of mush. if you want 4 sticks then use 4 sticks. there isnt anything major wrong with it.

What were you planning on using 32 gig of RAM for?

What RAM exactly?

And yes there is no problem running four sticks in dual channel at all . Some chips memory controllers might not overclock as well with four DIMMS installed
