Hi,

I am looking for a low-profile cpu cooler that has the maximum height of 10cm (100mm), because I have around 121 mm clearance from the CPU to the side panel. I was first thinking about a simple AIO LC, but reading 'too much' reviews made me to consider about Air cooler. I currently have Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 as my mobo, and FX6350 as my cpu. BTW, this cpu has 125w tdp.

Please recommend which one is better between NH-L12, H55, or H60. As you may have noticed, I am extremely short in terms of budget, and there is one NH-L12 selling for 50 euros, and others are about the same range (50 to 60 euros) here in the netherlands.

Thanks in advance,
blueM16000

The best performer will be the H60, but the most friendly (less maintenance and easy to install) and quiet will be the Noctua, Air coolers have far less hassles, and it may be the ultimate decider.

I would opt for the Noctua!

thanks. will L12 handle mediocre over clocking? like around 4.4 to 4.5ghz? because my motherboard is one of higher end product, and if the cooler bottlenecks temperature-wise, it will be imbalance.

Only just (it'll be a bit hot, though it'll handle it), since your overclocking, I'd suggest the H60.

a lot of people tend to feel safe to go with air than AIOs. Could you recommend some other coolers that are typically lower profile, please?

I do also, High end air coolers perform so similarly to pre-build air coolers, it's unbelievable.

I'll find the best coolers that are low profile, hang on..

another good option would be get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, then get a case that has the clearance.

umm so, i have exactly 58 euros to spend at maximum, and i have very tiny, small and rather precise space for placing my computer (a little space under my desk.) so it is difficult to have another case unless i have enough money to afford an additional desk.. I heard a lot of good things about CM hyper 212 eve, though.

it is your best option over pre-build liquid cooling, if you have any other questions just ask and we'll gladly help.
