I already have a GTX 780 (should of got TI) an wandering if its better to wait for the new maxwell since it's suppose to be twice as strong as the kepler. waiting is not an issue just want the best bang for my buck. if 1 high-end maxwell will perform as good as 2 780 SLI then i want the Maxwell GPU..
Any thoughts? am i blowing smoke up my own ass as far as an SLI config would lose to a single GPU no clue, Tech these days is crazy as far as what it can do, so up in the air about this one any advice would be nice ... Thank you

You may as well go with SLI EVGA GTX 780 SC's http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CTY84KI if you're wanting to upgrade soon. Maxwell won't be out for several more months. A single 880 will not beat SLI 780's and I'm confident saying that even before we see benchmarks.

It's really up to you though. If you want the added horsepower and have a power supply that can handle it then go for it.
