Toshiba l300 display problems or cable broke

Hello guys, i have a dramatic problem overhere. I'm fixin a friend's Toshiba l300 laptop with a gray bar on a display, so i tought its an GPU problem, so i connected it to external display and everything was fine so i crossed a GPU as not the problem, 2 things left: or allmost dead or broken flex cable, or display gone bad, i need a proffesional help overhere, i have to buy parts for it and i don't have an idea witch one of parts is causing problem, unfortunetly i do no have any flex cables or similar LCD-s to test do they have same issue. Sorry for bad english...
