Thread Notifications has stopped clearing?

Upper right thread notifications has stopped resetting to 0 after accessing the thread mine shows 4 notifications and I've always had 2 showing up from past threads that were relocated by those in authority even before this new problem started happening.

There is currently a problem, which I believe is being worked. The tracking function in general seems to be broken.

A fix for the threads tracking issue has been pushed to the live servers, and the problem should be gone within a few minutes. The process is taking into account actions from yesterday, so there may be some short delay before you see your tracking take effect, but once the system catches up all should be well. You may also want to force a manual refresh with a Ctrl+F5.

Again, sorry for the temporary inconvenience. You may now resume your regularly scheduled thread tracking.

I too am still having the issue. Can't clear existing notifications, and also not being notified of new tracked thread posts.

Tried clearing all browsing data, no effect.

This should be resolved for you now, Kekoh and blockhead. The processing for the entire day's worth of tracking actions took longer than expected, but this should be fixed as of now. If not, let me know and we'll re-escalate the issue.

Still having the same problem.

Notifications have caught up a little to more recent posts (but still missing the most recent ones) and they're not clearing out of notifications once read.

*edit - looks like recent notifications are now starting to come through, but now my notifications are just building up and not clearing

Still have the problem and it's worse now jpishgar, I'm showing 7 notifications that won't clear, it was only 4 when I posted this.

Edit: Immediately after the post it dropped to the original 2, that it has show since my past threads got relocated, can that be reset to zero?

The notification of the 2 threads still exist because they were moved to quarantine then relocated to a different section of the forum, so the system knows they still exist, but I have no access to them as the quarantine killed that access, but the notification still shows the 2 threads.

To fix the non-visible unread threads issue, you need to hit the 'Mark all as read' button on the tracked threads page.

Tracking should be good now, but notifications might take a bit of time to catch up. Additionally, devs are currently looking into a few issues related to this, including a problem clearing notifications. Shouldn't be too long before all the dust is cleared out and the technical hiccups here are rectified. Apologies again for the temporary inconvenience, guys.

Everything is working great for me. I even noticed that now when clicking on a notification, it takes you to the latest unread post, which didn't happen before.
