VPN router recommendation

Hi,

I have been using draytek router 2820VN for the last 4 years to provide VPN access to my family and friends abroad. The gov over there blocks many websites and mobile apps such as viber and skype. With Draytek I used to create a pptp or lt2p vpn accounts for them on the router which they can set it up on their mobile or PCs. Unfortunately my Draytek has broken down and it’s not working anymore and I am looking to replace it with another similar router that provides similar VPN features.

I would really appreciate if anyone can recommend a similar router that has the same VPN capabilities.

I do not have much knowledge about DD-WRT but its certainly something that I can try. Do you know how many VPN accounts I can create with DD-WRT?
with Draytek I could create upto 32 VPN accounts.
