I have a Samsung T220HD which is a 16:10 22" 1680x1050 screen. Will I see a difference if I get an Asus VX238H which is a 16:9 23" 1920x1080 screen? Will it be too small compared to my old monitor? I'm not exactly sure if thats the monitor I'm going to get.I have other similar options but they are 23.6 23.8 and 24 inches.

Hello george098765

You will see a big difference in resolution as you will be going from 1680x1050 to 1080p so you'll have more pixels and 1080p will look great on 23 inches.

In terms of the other sizes your looking at I suggest you go with a 24 inch monitor as 24 inches is the ideal and right size for gaming. Anything higher than 24 inches and you would want to make sure you get a 1440p resolution (very sexy)

Hope this helped! :)

Thanks for the answer but it seems that I didn't explain myself properly.
I know that going from 1050 to 1080 will make a difference but what I was asking about is the actual screen size (inches).I looked it up and a 16:10 22" screen is supposed to be bigger than a 16:9 23" screen, also bigger than 23.6".23.8" and 24" seem to be bigger and that would be the way to go but they are slightly more expensive.
So my question is: is the 23" monitor significantly smaller than my actual monitor? Because if it is,I'm definitely not getting it since I don't want a smaller screen.
