First build, have a few questions

I'm looking in to building my first PC. Here is a list of the parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3LMUp

My first concern is part compatibility. I've done the research and from what I can tell, everything is compatible. PCPartPicker also says there are no compatibility issues, so I figured it's all good.

I'm a little concerned about the quality of the motherboard. It seems quite cheap for a full ATX board. I've seen reviews for it that go both ways, saying it is an excellent and solid board, but also arrives DOA or fails in a very short period of time. If the quality is questionable I'd be OK with a micro ATX board as long as all the parts would fit on it in the case. Would prefer not to dish out $100+ for a full ATX.

I'd like to make sure of a couple things with the DVD/CD burner. It's OEM so I believe I need SATA data cables to connect it to the motherboard? The PSU comes with SATA power cables. Also just want to confirm its capability of reading discs so I can install whatever OS I decide to go with using it. Will hopefully be Windows 7.

Not sure if I'll be going with a wired or wireless network/internet connection. Will have to arrange a few things if I want to have it wired. If I end up going wireless, I was looking at this adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833389005
Would it be best if I could get it wired, or would wireless be OK? My main purpose for this PC at the moment will be streaming games, mainly console (speedruns) via Twitch.tv through a capture device.

If you've made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read this! I'm hoping for some opinions on my part selection. If you have the time to leave a quick response, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.

Hello,

To answer your first questions, All the parts are compatible

To answer your second question, definately go wired, it can deliver much better speeds then wireless in most cases

One concern about your build, you are going with last gen parts that will be outdated slightly with the new haswell refresh and will be completely outdated with Broadwell(5th gen intel)

for a 625 dollar build you allocated alot of the budget into a processor, when on a gaming build a GPU is the most important componant

Go with this setup

Gpu: r9 270x gigabyte - $196
Website: http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GDDR5-2GB-2xDVI-Graphics-GV-R927XOC-2GD/dp/B00FONITCE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400358544&sr=8-1&keywords=amd+r9+270x

Cpu: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition
Website: http://www.amazon.com/AMD-FD6300WMHKBOX-FX-6300-Processor-Edition/dp/B009O7YORK/ref=pd_bxgy_pc_text_y

motherboard: Gigabyte AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gbps
Website: http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-SATA-6Gbps-Motherboards-GA-970A-DS3P/dp/B00DJ3DWN2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1400358589&sr=8-3&keywords=am3%2B+motherboard

These componants will deliver superior performance and are all still in your budget and are still compatible with the entire build

Hope I helped :D

Thanks for confirming that they are compatible. I'll try seeing if I can get a wired connection. I'd prefer to stick with the processor I've chosen though, as I will also be doing a fair bit of multitasking and will most likely have several programs running at once. My budget for the tower is ~$700, and with rebates and such it's roughly $650, so I'll see if I can put a bit more in to the GPU. Thanks for the tips.
