I'm considering building up the following gaming rig:
Case: Corsair Obsidian 250D
Mobo: ASUS Maximus VI Impact
CPU: Intel i5 4670K Cooler: Corsair H100i
GPU: ASUS GTX760 DC2OC 2GB GGR5
RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 8GB
SSD: 1x Samsung 840 Pro Basic 256GB
HDD: WD Green 2TB 3.5"
Over at he the CM's Power Supply Calculator the recommended minimum PSU Wattage is 453W (on peak load).
Question is which of these Corsair series would be the best choice, considering that a modular PSU would be best since the build is going to be on a mITX case:
- Corsair CS550M
- Corsair CX500M
- Corsair RM550
Only future upgrade's I see in this rig may be aditional 2.5" and 3.5" storage drives. I know I've chosen an unlocked CPU but I won't overclock for now since I'm no expert at that.
Are there also PSU with shorter cables that makes cable management easier on this mITX case?
