So I am planning on building a new rig in the next few weeks and I just wanted to run my parts list by you guys. This computer will be mostly used for gaming and video editing. I am planning to overclock the CPU and the GPU. For a monitor I am currently looking at the ROG Swift PG278Q, but if any one could find a better 1440p one that would be great. My budget is $2000-$3000 max. Thanks in advance!

get that asus monitor, one of the best and if possible spend a bit more and sli the 780ti $709, but there should be less expensive 780ti's out there the evga one is good but lets say you could get the msi one for 500-600 and save a bit more cash etc. When sli upgrade the psu to 1000watt or even 860watt

all in all this will add to $2700

The reason why I said sli is because you could get more frame rates for 1440p
