i got some amazon giftcards for my birthday and i am ready to buy a ssd to go with my 3tb hdd. what ssd would you recommend? is a 240gb worth it over a 120gb? the samsung evo is not on the list because of the price of $140, its $20 more than most sdd and $40 more than the PNY is the extra cost really worth it? Here are some of what i found:

PNY XLR8 $99 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007WT9UXA

Crucial M500 $120 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BQ8RM1A/

Sandisk ultra plus $120 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00APEG8NO/

adata premiere pro sp 900 $120 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007RHT4K6/

seagate 600 $120 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CKAOJA0/

I have a z87 asus pro motherboard and i run windows7 if that matters.

Managed to find a thread on the 3 I'd pick between:

If this is your first SSD then everything is going to seem much faster than a HDD.

I own the Samsung EVO and it is great, but I'd pick the m500 for it's stability/features personally. You won't really notice any differences in speed between good brands of SSD, unless some software bug is making them run slower.

You will love SSDs after this, no matter which of them you picked. :)
