Upgrade full system or just go for a GPU for now?

I got out of the habit of constantly upgrading my gaming system and am now sitting on a system I've had for many years. In looking at the various reviews for current gen CPUs and also what's on the horizon, I'm crippled with indecision on if I should go for a full system overhaul at this point or just upgrade my GPU and hold-off on the full system upgrade.

Current System:

CPU: i7 920 (Bloomfield)
RAM: 16gb Crucial 12800
GPU: GTX 275
PSU: 700 watt Corsair
MB: ASUS P6T SE

Considering Going with

CPU: i7 4790 (or 4770K)
RAM: 16gb Corsair 1866
GPU: GTX 770 2gb

Thanks in advance for any input.

I would go with the GPU upgraded!
Your CPU is pretty good and with a good Noctua cooler you could OC it.
You will not need any more RAM. Your PSU is fine. (If it's a good model)
Your GPU is old and week. It does not even have 1GB of VRAM.
Get a good GPU and you will see an improvement.
I would get an SSD to speed up load times ETC.
