Monitor turns off while playing games!

Sometimes, after maybe 2 minutes of gameplay of BF3, or GTA IV, the monitor shuts off, and restarts it's self. The computer is still on though. Then the game can't be played unless restarted. It recently just started happening out of nowhere last week. I've tried replugging the power cables of my GPU and replugging in the HDMI. Clues anyone?

i would suspect more your gpu for this give the name and model of the parts in the system .

CPU: i5 4670
Motherboard: ASUS Gryphon Z87
HDD: Samsung HD204UI 2TB
PSU: Cooler Master i700

Actually, come to think of it, I raised my maximum voltage that my GPU can reach to 1206 watts. I believe it was 1205 and it never did this. Can this be the suspect?!

did you check the temp of your gpu this means you overclock it you will have to lower that could be set to high so it could not handle it alsp make shure you have a good air flow in the case before any overclocking .

The temps were around 70 under load

70 c start to be high but i would reduce the voltage to normal and try some other setting like raising the clock or the memory .
