I have two USB 2.0 Western Digital external hard drives that are used just to store my files and I do NOT use WD software to back them up. They're strictly storage drives.I need to buy another drive to add more storage capability, Unfortunately, I only have two USB ports that I could use for the three hard drives. Can I use a USB hub to plug two of the three units into one USB port? Is there anything I should know before I buy one? Is there a recommended brand or model number for these hubs? I have Windows 7 OS on a non-networked single-user PC. I am NOT very technical oriented, so keep that in mind with your replies, please.
