Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 B50 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8192MB RAM
Page File: 1948MB used, 14432MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 520
Approx. Total Memory: 4049MB

If there's anything else I need to tell you about my PC let me know! Thank you in advance!
I was just seeing what all needs an upgrade to be able to run games on high settings such as COD Ghosts .. Titanfall .. basically just current games and up. I know my computer has potential but I'm guessing it lacks in certain areas .. certain games lag a bit and have FPS issues. And the games I'm speaking of aren't even high end games at all.

You are heavily lacking in graphics, a GT 520 is a very weak graphics card, you are going to need to look into a graphics upgrade and likely a power supply upgrade to support it.

Am I doing okay in other aspects?

That will be a massive step up. The CPU is basically a PII 955 which performs similar to an A8-3850, its better in some things, worse in others, so while it isn't one of the latest and greatest it will do. Being a B50 tells me you have an OEM machine which means swapping the CPU is going to require a complete rebuild as your board isn't going to support any of the newer CPUs.

Okay, thank you Hunter! Is it fully necessary to switch out the CPU anyway though? Or would you imagine it would be able to pull a good load of performance with what I have? And when you say full rebuild wouldn't I just need a new motherboard? Or is that quite expensive?

I'm running a 955, it has treated me well, but i also don't run the cutting edge games. Most games are designed to work well on a large variety of CPUs, not just the best out there. If you already have it and aren't planning on doing a full rebuild i would stick with it and try it out, if it turns out to be limiting you in what you play you can always upgrade it later but no point spending money if you don't need to.

Got ya man! Thanks so much I really appreciate it. I'm looking to be playing the new games that come out on at least high settings. I'll get the GFX card and see how that works.. if I still feel like I need more power I'm going to grab this combo. What do ya think? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...
