First let me list what I am working with at the moment.
Intel i7 2600K
Cooler Master V6 GT CPU cooler
ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 Motherboard
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4x4) DDR3 1866
Coolermaster 800W Modular Power Supply
Two EVGA GTX 560 ti 448 Cores Classifieds running 2 way SLI
Samsung 128GB SSD 840 Pro Series (Running Windows 7 Premium 64bit)
Corsair 90GB SSC Force
Toshiba 3TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive
WD Black 1TB Hard Drive
WD 1TB External Hard Drive
DVD Player
Coolmaster HAF 922 Case
ASUS PB278 27" LCD 4K Monitor running at 2560x1440
Let me start off by saying that both my video cards are pretty much fried/dead. I am guessing this was caused by the cards drooping. The video card I had on the top started to make noises. Then one day the fan to the right broke completely into pieces. I tried taking that one out and just running my system on my second card, the card did not work correctly. My monitors would go dead stating that nothing was hooked up. So right now I have the second card in my main slot, with the old primary one on the bottom slot. The main slotted card is making TERRIBLE noise when I play anything. In the past I was able to run some of my MMOs on Ultra with little to no lag. Now I am getting lag on the medium settings. My computer is vibrating my entire apartment and making so much noise when I play any kind of video game. So clearly something needs to be done. I am thinking about purchasing an EVGA GTX 780 Ti Turbo. I just do not know if it is worth replacing more of my computer components or build a new one. What do you all think?
