[Wall of text incoming, typos may be present.]
So, I bought my whole build, which I will start this thread by posting it:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
M/B: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis Single 8GB 1600Mhz C9 (however on Motherboard it's default is 1333Mhz, something about XMP probably, I changed it to 1600MHz, CAS timings seemed to stay the same according to Ai Suite from ASUS)
GPU: MSi R9 280X Gaming 3G
PSU: XFX 850W Core Edition
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit
So anyway, the issue(s):
Sometimes during games I get mesh problems, and even textures either gone missing or purple (Dark Souls 2, Prototype 2, Skyrim, etc), Prototype 2 exibihits more of a thing of textures or decals turning white, and sometimes there will be this huge stretched mesh when I look into a specific point.
I also had a problem with YouTube where a green line or white line would flicker in the middle of the video and even had some other form of lines around the video sometimes (all horizontal and flickering) but that seems to have been fixed somehow as I've never seen ti again.
And finally, sometimes, but in the first days I built the computer it happened a lot more often, I get this weird square of large pixels flickering on different parts of the screen, sometimes white, other times black, and sometimes even with these scrapes of previous frames... These disappear when either I plug off/in my HDMI cable, when I leave the game/close specific window or reboot.
They do not show up on screenshots (Print Screen key), only the mesh problems does, the YouTube one I haven't checked.
Most of these problems are oddly fixed after restarting the game until it stops displaying it...
I've checked my temperatures (63ºC max with default fans, 45-50~ with custom fan setup) and even reset MSi Afterburner (Only thing I changed there were the Fans to run faster, no overclock whatsoever performed) and still exhibits these things sometimes,
Additional Info:
Catalyst driver is 14.6 Beta (because Watch Dogs haha)
I have CCC installed as mentioned above ^^^^^^^^
I have changed settings on the CCC, mostly so my 1920x1200 is 1080p native and not pan&scan
I have Rivatuner, which for some reason never starts on startup, so I don't think it does anything.
Yes, my input is HDMI, It's either that or DVI-to-VGA, my monitor only supports SCART, HDMI and VGA. GPU had 2 Displayport, 1 HDMI and 1 DVI-D/I outputs.
Any additional info that I might have forgotten please ask me.
I'm not too bugged about this because I just hotfix it as I said above, but I decided to ask.
Thank you for reading and please help
