Hello
Am planing of getting two Radeon R9 280X but Also am thinking of getting Radeon HD 7990. So which of them would be a better choice? and how much of a difference between them?

Another thing is that 2 of the 280X will cost me about $70 less than the HD 7990.

So what should I buy`?

My PC runs on

Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 6GB CL9,,, but this is not problem am getting 4GB more soon.
i7 950 not overclocked but I can get it easy at 3.8Ghz.
Asus P6X58D-E
1000W PSU
My current Graphic is GTX Gigabyte 560 Ti SOC @950 Mhz

I'm rocking 2 r9 280x toxics in crossfire and I am not having any issues and very high fps in games. I had some problems after initial release, but they were driver issues that have since been resolved. I have very smooth gameplay on ultra settings on any game I have played.

The 7990 is not very good. Lots of issues, mainly heat related. I would recommend the 2x 280x's.

Edit: what are the rest of your specs?

I've updated my specs what do you think?
Also I hear crossfire and SLI have problems but AMD made new drivers to make crossfire work good is that ture? is this why your cards working smoothly?

When the cards first came out I was having issues with stuttering, a few driver releases in and it has gone away. The 7990 is techinically a crossfire and will be shown that way too. So if any issues there are with crossfired cards will be there with the 7990. It's 2 chips on a single pcb. So it is a crossfire.

The only thing holding back my gaming right now is my internet connection!
