  • upgrade CPU (and which one) and you will be fine with 770 with play/recording uses

(1920x1080) I want to be able to play games on ultra settings such as watch dogs while recording with reliable FPS, I haven't bought anything for the computer so far and this is my first build, i'm looking at the GTX 770/GTX 780 for GPU's, i don't want to spend to much money and since the price ATM is $500 from $720 (mojor drop) i want to know if i a) need the upgrade to be able to play/record in ultra settings b) it's worth the upgrade c)no upgrade needed you will be fine doing whatever in watchdogs (ultra settings) and recording at the same time! d) upgrade CPU (and which one) and you will be fine with 770 with play/recording uses

P.S. the sale for the 780 end on may 31

(pc build w/out GPU)

Your processor is completely fine and the GTX 780 will be able to max out everything and record.
Your can also go for r9 290x if you wish. If you have enough budget, buy a SSD and record to that.
You will get a boost of about 5-10 fps while recording to a SSD (or even another physical HDD). But remember, this boost is only DURING RECORDING to the SSD/another HDD over the primary hard drive on which the OS and game are installed.
