Is my upgrade good enough for gaming ?

Hello guys, my name is ismail and i'm about to upgrade my PC
first, here is my PC configuration :

160GB HARD DRIVE
2GB RAM DDR2 KINGSTON
INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.39GHZ
(integrated graphics)
300W power supply

I'm gonna upgrade my PC by adding :
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 240 ( or gt 520 ) can you tell me what's better

So guys i want to know if it will be good on gaming ( medium resolution and i'm not going for next-gen games) or should i choose another graphic card ? ( it should be under 70$) and thanks

The ram sounds good but I'm sure you can find better cards than that for $70. Does your power supply have a 6 pin cable?

no, my power supply does not have a 6pin cable. and i really don't have much money to buy something higher than 70$

For most cards, yes. The best card that doesn't need one is the gtx 750 ti but that's way over budget. You could probably find a HD7750 on ebay for under $70, it's the second best card that doesn't need a 6-pin.
