Approximate Purchase Date: When advice has run its course

Budget Range: want to stay in a reasonable range so no more than a few hundred over posted build

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming and streaming video

Are you buying a monitor: Have a Samsung Syncmaster 2493, picked up for 5 dollars at a garage sale so not to attached if needed
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Live in Napavine Wa US so standard sites, except sadly no microcenter

Parts Preferences: skeptical with msi, but like asus. Would like to stay with Intel and Nvidia

Overclocking: possibly in future if needed or its easy enough
SLI or Crossfire: If needed in the future

First thanks for the help, I appreciate it. Peripherals are spendy, so will probably pick up cheap stuff for now. Should I get more fans than the standard case fans? Went with 770 because it seemed good enough, as i will be using 1 monitor, correct me if I am wrong. All parts recommendations are welcome.

Everything there looks good, though you could save yourself some money and buy the 120GB samsung 840 EVO as you don't need more space than that for the boot disk and get a smaller PSU as well, something like a 650W one as you don't need more than that unless you are planning on getting another GTX770 for SLI at a later date.

That build looks great to me, and that cooler will allow you to overclock well. Your build shouldn't need more fans than the four included, not unless you are going to do some serious overclocking. I'd recommend these fans:
Top 200: http://tinyurl.com/200mmFan
VGA 120: http://tinyurl.com/knj4tns
VGA 80: http://tinyurl.com/naaswsf

These are just suggestions, and as the GPU you have chosen has a radial fan, you'll need to get rid of all of that heat that it's pretty much dumping in your case, but adding these fans will let you overclock to even higher frequencies. Hope I helped and I'm sure you'll have a blast with your new PC ;)

Will 2 770s provide much better graphics on a single 1920x1200? If not will take your advise and go for a smaller psu.

Thanks for the advice Click53. Plan to start slow but if i get a good board and find out what I am doing, I will do just that.

At the moment there is absolutely no need for a second 770, as one will allow you to max out all current games or so close to it that it doesn't matter, so unless you are wanting to maintain that level of performance for another 3 years or more, there is no need. And besides, adding another 770 for a SLI configuration, just means more problems (microstuttering etc). So I would say that you are better off with a single 770 and a smaller PSU
