Good idea to use after market parts on 2003 Cadillac Deville DTS TO replace Rack and Pinion?

I would ask this question on a Cadillac forum where people have better knowledge of whether the aftermarket is any good for items like that. Personally, I wouldn't want to invest that much money into a car like that, so I'd probably opt for the aftermarket, assuming it was a direct OE replacement.
