I need new graphic card

I need new graphic card, but I don't know how to match it with the rest of the components. I would like it to have 2GB.
Can you tell me few choices on which graphic card should I buy?


CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz
HDD Seagate Diamond Maxtor 21 500GB SATA2
MB Asus P5Q SE,P45.1600,DDR2 1200MHz
Memory Kingston Hyper-X DDR2 2GB x2

Give some info about your power supply (psu) too.Make,mode;wattage. ore info rom the sticker at the side,is wattage,amps on the +12voltrails and what kind of pcie cables=how many and 6pin or 8pin.

Chieftec Power Supply Delta, A135, ATX 550W, v.2.2, Active PFC, 80Plus
Amps on +12voltails: 25A
PCI Cables: I don't really know what they are, so I can not answer you that.

Also previously I used Sapphire ATI HD 4870 1GB.

Those cables are the ones that power that hd 4870.

You could look at the r9 270(x),probably the best with that cpu in mind and could (probably would) already be bottleneckt by it.With maybe upgrading the motherboard and cpu would you still have a nice gpu with this one.

Depends.. I can afford r9 270x, but more than than no.

There is the hd 7870 which is the predecessor from the r9 270(X) and about as good and most of the times cheaper to be found..
For the same money or a bit less is there the gtx 660,but it's slightly worse in performance.
The r7 265 is less money and about as good as the gtx 660 as i recall.
The cheapest i would go is the r7 260X/hd 7850.
